NIPER-Guwahati is the fifth such Institute to be included in the list of premier Institutes under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India. The NIPER-Guwahati started functioning from the month of September 2008. The Institute is presently located at its permanent campus at Changsari-781101, Dist. Kamrup, Assam.

1. Research Associate (RA)

No of Posts: 01 nos

Qualifications: 

Essential: Ph.D. with 55% marks in Post-Graduation (M.Pharm/M.S/ M.Tech) in Pharmaceutics or Pharmaceutical Technology/ Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bioscience and Bioengineering or M.Pharm/M.S/ M.Tech in Pharmaceutics or Pharmaceutical Technology/ Bioscience and Bioengineering with 3 years of research/teaching/industrial experience.

Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidate having expertise in formulation development (conventional as well as advanced delivery systems) and analytical techniques such as HPLC/ LCMS/GCMS, SEM with at least two publications in SCI Indexed Journal as a first author. Candidates with industrial experience are highly desirable.

Salary: Rs. 47,000/-p.m. plus 16% HRA

Age: 35 yrs

2. Senior Research Fellow

No of Posts: 01 nos

Qualifications:

 

Essential: Post Graduate degree with first class in M.Pharm/MS Pharmacology with two years of research /teaching/industrial experience.

Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in animal handling, pharmacological screening models, CPCSEA guidelines, etc with at least one publication in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.

Salary: Rs. 32,480/-p.m. consolidated salary

Age: 35 yrs
