Reference Point No. XII of 'General Instructions to the Candidates' of the advertisement issued on 05.04.2018 and published on 06.04.2018 in leading newspapers in Assam for recruitment of 135 posts of Jail Warder in Prison Department, Assam, it is for general information that the Govt. of Assam has given approval for recruitment of another 38 posts of Jail Warder in Prison Department, Assam. As such, the total number of vacancies for the recruitment of Jail Warder in the Prison Department, Assam will be 173.

Male: 153 nos (UR-137, OBC/MOBC-04, STH-08, STP-04)
Female: 20 nos (UR-18, OBC/MOBC-01, STP-01)

Qualification: Eligible candidates male candidates who complete HSLC or Class-X & female candidates who have passed Annual examination of Class-VIII or an equivalent examination recognized bt the Government.

Age: Candidates should not be more than 38 years and less than 18 years of age as on 1st January 2020.
