Online applications are invited from the permanent residents of Assam for recruitment to the following Grade-III posts of 5 (Five) newly established Polytechnics to be made functional from August 2020 under the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam.

1. Junior Assistant
No Of Posts: 15 nos (UR-06, OBC-04, SC-01, ST(P)-02, ST(H)-01, EWS-01)

Qualification: (a) Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any Examination declared equivalent by the Govt.
(b)Must possess Computer Skills & proficiency for handling data and text on the computer.

Salary: PB-2 of Rs. 14000-60500plus Grade Pay of Rs.6200/-

2. Junior Instructor
No Of Posts: 25 nos (UR-11, OBC-06, SC-02, ST(P)-03, ST(H)-01, EWS-02)

Hailakandi-05 nos

Qualification: (a) Passed HSLC or TSLC and having a Certificate from ITI or equivalent in appropriate trade with 5 years of experience in the relevant trade.
(b) The experience must be from Govt. recognized organization.

Salary: PB-2 of Rs. 14000-60500 plus Grade Pay of Rs.6800/-

3. Scientific Assistant (Physics)
No Of Posts: 05 nos (UR-03, OBC-01, ST(P)-01)

Qualification: (a)Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
(b)Preference will be given to candidates having Major/Honours in Physics at Degree level.

Salary: PB-2 of Rs. 14000-60500 plus Grade Pay of Rs.7400/-


4. Scientific Assistant (Chemistry)
No Of Posts: 05 nos (UR-03, OBC-01, ST(P)-01)

Qualification: (a)Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
(b)Preference will be given to candidates having Major/Honors in Chemistry in Degree level.

Salary: PB-2 of Rs. 14000-60500 plus Grade Pay of Rs.7400/-

Age: Candidates must not be less than 18 years and more than 38 years of age on 01.01.2020.
