Recruitment Details: 

Online applications are invited from the permanent residents of Assam for appointment to the following posts of Dhemaji Engineering College, Dhemaji to be made functional from August 2020 under the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam. 

Name Of The Posts: 

1. Junior Assistant

No of posts: 08 nos (UR-04, OBC-02, SC-01, STP-01)

Qualification: 

(a) Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any Examination declared equivalent by the Govt.

(b) Must possess Computer Skills & proficiency for handling data and text on a computer.

Salary: PB-2 of Rs. 14000-60500 plus Grade Pay of Rs.6200/-

2. Junior Instructor

No of posts: 14 nos (UR-06, OBC-04, SC-01, STP-01, STH-01, EWS-01)

Qualification: 

(a) Passed HSLC or TSLC and having a Certificate from ITI or equivalent in appropriate trade with 5 years of experience in the relevant trade.

(b) The experience must be from Govt. recognized organization.

Salary: PB-2 of Rs. 14000-60500 plus Grade Pay of Rs.6800/-

3. Scientific Assistant (Physics)

No of posts: 01 nos (UR)

Qualification: 

(a)Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

(b)Preference will be given to candidates having Major/Honours in Physics at Degree level.

Salary: PB-2 of Rs. 14000-60500 plus Grade Pay of Rs.7400/-

4. Scientific Assistant (Chemistry)

No of posts: 01 nos (UR)

Qualification: 

(a)Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

(b)Preference will be given to candidates having Major/Honours in Chemistry in Degree level.

Salary: PB-2 of Rs. 14000-60500 plus Grade Pay of Rs.7400/-

5. Assistant Professor (Technical)

Civil Engineering: 06 nos

Mechanical Engineering: 06 nos

Computer Science Engineering: 06 nos

Electrical Engineering: 01 nos

Salary: Rs. 57,700/- to Rs. 1,82,400/-

6. Assistant Professor (Non-Technical)

Physics: 02 nos

Chemistry: 02 nos

Mathematics: 02 nos

English: 01 nos

Humanities/Commerce: 01 nos

Salary: Rs. 57,700/- to Rs. 1,82,400/-

7. Senior Instructor

Civil Engineering: 02 nos

Mechanical Engineering: 02 nos

Computer Science Engineering: 02 nos

Salary: Rs. 14000/- to Rs.49000/- PB 2 with Grade Pay of Rs. 8700/-

8. Grade-IV (Bearer, Peon, Chowkidar, Workshop Jugali, Mali, etc.) 

No of Posts: 30 nos (UR-12, OBC-08, SC-02, STP-03, STH-02, EWS-03)

Qualification: Class VIII passed.

Salary: PB of Rs. 12000-52000 plus Grade Pay of Rs.3900/-

Age: 18 to 38 years

Selection Process:

a. Candidates may be Short Listed based on the overall academic records. In such a case only Shortlisted candidates will have to appear in the Written Test.

b. Written Test & Computer Proficiency/Practical Test: Details of the written test & computer proficiency test will be uploaded on the website and will also be published in the News Paper.

c. No T.A./D.A. shall be paid by the Department for attending Written Test/ Computer Proficiency/Practical Test/Document verification.
