The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is a Comprehensive Cancer Centre with a mission to achieve the highest standards in patient care, cancer prevention, cancer research and professional development for oncology and allied disciplines. TMC is an autonomous body funded, controlled by the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. TMC is affiliated to HomiBhabha National Institute (HBNI). The HBNI is a Deemed University of the Department of Atomic Energy with a mission to develop high quality postgraduate educational programs in science and technology including those related to life and health sciences. Name Of the Posts : 

1. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR ‘E’ DENTAL & PROSTHETICS SURGERY

Qualification & Experience : M.D.S. (Prosthetic Dentistry) or equivalent degree recognized by DCI with 3 years’ experience after MDS. Experience in Maxillo Facial Prosthetic work would be desirable. Additional qualification in the field of maxillofacial prosthetics will be advantageous. Candidates with less than 3 years’ but more than 1 year experience after postgraduation will be considered for lower grade if there are no suitably experienced candidate. 

2. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR ‘E’, SURGICAL ONCOLOGY

Qualification & Experience : M.Ch.(Surgical Oncology) or equivalent OR M.S.(General Surgery) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by MCI with 3 years’ post M.S. experience in Surgical Oncology. 

3. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR ‘E’ , GYNAEC ONCOLOGY

Qualification & Experience : M.Ch.(Gynaec oncology) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by MCI OR M.D.(Gynaecology) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by MCI with minimum 3 years experience after post graduation in Gynaec oncology. 

4. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR ‘E’, PLASTIC SURGERY

Qualification & Experience : M.Ch. (Plastic Surgery) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by Medical Council of India. 1 year experience in Oncoreconstruction and Microvascular Surgery either during M.Ch training or Post M.Ch is desirable. 

5. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR ‘E’, MEDICAL ONCOLOGY

Qualification & Experience : D.M. (Medical Oncology) or equivalent postgraduate degree

OR DM (Clinical Haematology) or equivalent postgraduate degree

OR M.D.(Medicine) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by Medical Council of India with 3 years of experience in Clinical Haematology or Medical Oncology. Candidates appeared for DM may also apply for the post.

6. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR ‘E’, MEDICAL ONCOLOGY (PEDIATRIC HAEMATOLYMPHOID)

Qualification & Experience : D.M. (Pediatric Oncology) / D.M. (Medical Oncology) or equivalent degree recognized by MCI. OR M.D. in Paediatrics or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by MCI with 3 years’ exclusive experience in Paediatric Oncology in a teaching institute. Candidates appeared for DM may also apply for the post.

7. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR ‘E’, ANAESTHESIOLOGY

Qualification & Experience : M.D. (Anesthesia) or equivalent postgraduate degree in Anesthesiology recognized by MCI with 3 years’ post M.D./ D.N.B. experience in Anesthesia in a Teaching Hospital. Experience in critical care and pain management is desirable.Candidates with less than 3 years’ but more than 1 year experience after M.D. will be considered for lower grade if there are no suitably experienced candidate.

8. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR ‘E’, PALLIATIVE MEDICINE

Qualification & Experience : M.D. in Palliative Medicine OR M.D. or M.S. in any Clinical Branch or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by Medical Council of India with minimum 3 years’ post M.D. /M.S. experience in Palliative care in a large hospital or cancer centre. A Post Graduate Diploma or Certified Training in Palliative Medicine of atleast 1 year duration is desirable. In the absence of suitable candidates, doctors with one year post M.D./M.S. exclusive experience in palliative care will be considered for appointment in a lower Grade

9. ASSISANT PROFESSOR ‘E’, GENERAL MEDICINE

Qualification & Experience : M.D. (Internal Medicine) or equivalent post graduate degree recognized by Medical Council of India with minimum 3 years experience after post graduation. Candidates with less than 3 years experience after post graduation will be considered for lower grade, if there are no suitably experienced candidates.

10. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR ‘E’, INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY

Qualification & Experience : DM (Intervention Radiology) OR M.D./ DNB in Radio-diagnosis recognized by MCI with 03 years experience post M.D. /D.N.B. in Interventional Radiology. 

11. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR ‘E’, PATHOLOGY

Qualification & Experience : DM (Oncopathology) OR DM (Haematopathology) OR M.D. / D.N.B. (Pathology) OR equivalent postgraduate degree in Pathology recognized by MCI with minimum 3 years post M.D. / D.N.B. experience in Pathology. Experience in Onco-Pathology, Cytology,Haemato-Pathology, or Molecular Pathology is desirable. Candidates with less than 3 years’ but more than 1 year experience after M.D. will be considered for lower grade if there are no suitably experienced candidate..

12. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR ‘E’, MICROBIOLOGY

Qualification & Experience : M.D. (Microbiology) recognized by Medical Council of India with 3 years’ post M.D. experience in service, education and research in Microbiology preferably in a teaching institute. This position requires the operational skills for running a state of art modern Clinical Microbiology facility and providing logistic support to the clinical and academic programs. Candidates with less than 3 years’ but more than 1 year experience after post graduation will be considered for lower grade.

13. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR ‘E’, NUCLEAR MEDICINE

Qualification & Experience : M.D. / D.N.B. Nuclear Medicine with 3 years experience in MCI recognized institute as Senior Resident / Lecturer / Assistant Professor will be considered for the post of Assistant Professor ‘E’ Nuclear Medicine. Experience less than 3 years but more than 1 year will be considered for the post of Assistant Professor ‘D’ Nuclear Medicine OR M.D. / D.N.B Nuclear Medicine with 3 years experience in any Nuclear Medicine department will be considered for the post of Physician ‘E’ Nuclear Medicine.

14. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR ‘E’, TRANSFUSION MEDICINE

Qualification & Experience : 1.) MD (Pathology) and Diploma in Transfusion Medicine with minimum 3 years experience in Blood Bank / Transfusion Medicine after post graduation OR

2.) MD (Pathology) with minimum 5 years experience in Blood Bank / Transfusion Medicine after post graduation.

OR

3.) MD (Immunohaematology and Blood Transfusion) with minimum 3 years experience in Blood Bank / Transfusion Medicine after post graduation.

Candidates with less than experience mentioned in Sr.No. 1 to 3 but more than 1 year experience after PG will be considered for lower grade.

Age : 45 years

Salary : Level 12 [Pre-revised PB-3, Rs.15600-39100 + 7600 GP], Rs.78,800/- Level 12, Cell 1 + Allowances applicable.
