IIT GUWAHATI Recruitment Details : 

Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) invites online applications from eligible Indian Nationals for appointment to the following posts. Candidates are requested to apply online only. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.

Name Of the Posts : 

1. Medical Officer 

No Of Post : 01 nos (OBC)

Qualification : MBBS degree from a recognized University, with three years experience in a reputed Hospital after completion of compulsory rotatory internship. Preference will be given to the candidates having post-graduate degree or diploma in clinical subjects.

Pay Matrix : Level –10 as per 7th CPC (PB3 ; ₹ 15600-39100, Grade Pay = ₹ 5400/- as per 6th CPC)

Age : Not more than 35 years.

2. Students’ Counsellor

No Of Post : 01 nos (SC)

Qualification : Post Graduate qualifications in an appropriate discipline from accredited and recognized Institutions with specializations in areas of Counselling, Psychotherapy and / or Clinical Psychology.

Desirable : At least 3 years experience as practicing professionals or as in-house counsellors. Experience of similar work in higher educational institutions will be given weightage.

Pay Matrix : Level –10 as per 7th CPC (PB3 ; ₹ 15600-39100, Grade Pay = ₹ 5400/- as per 6th CPC)

Age : Not more than 50 years

3. Technical Officer Gr. II

No Of Post : 01 nos (ST) [Department of Design]

Qualification : BDes/ MDes or Masters in design relevant subjects & preferably with one year working experience.  

Experience : Five years of working experience of video equipment, photography equipment, lighting studio, editing, video conferencing etc. in a digital environment.

Pay Matrix : Level –10 as per 7th CPC (PB3 ; ₹ 15600-39100, Grade Pay = ₹ 5400/- as per 6th CPC)

Age : Not more than 35 years

4. Computer & Communication Centre  

No Of Post : 01 nos (SC)

Qualification : BE/ BTech /MSc. in relevant subject preferably one year working experience.

Experience : BTech / BE with first class in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology with one year experience / OR MCA with first class with two years experience / MSc with first class in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology with three years experience. Knowledge of Programming and Networking is essential. Familiarity with a Linux environment is required. One year experience in relevant field is desirable.

Age : Not more than 35 years
