Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) invites online applications from eligible Indian Nationals for appointment to the following posts. Applicants are requested to apply online only. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.

No Of Post :  01 post (UR)

Pay Matrix Level : 14; (PB-4 with GP 10000 as per 6th CPC)

Age Limit : Not more than 55 years (For internal candidates requirements pertaining to age may not be insisted upon).

Minimum Qualification and Experience :  Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 18 years of experience at Asst. Executive Engineer level with Pay Matrix Level – 10 and above (GP - 5400/- & above as per 6 CPC), out of which 3 years at the Superintendent Engineer level with Pay Matrix Level – 13 and above (GP- 8700/- & above as per 6 CPC).

Desirable experience : Experience in design, estimation and execution of Civil/ Electrical Engineering works, supervision of construction of multi-storied buildings, maintenance of buildings & roads / electrical power distribution/ HVAC system in Govt. or Govt. undertakings/ PSU/ National level Institutions.

Fee Payable : Applicants will have to make a payment of application fee through the online mode only. Fee payable by the applicant are as follows : ₹500/- (for Unreserved and OBC applicants) & ₹250/- (for SC/ST/PwD applicants).
