Name Of The Posts :
1. Executive-Projects(Mechanical/Electrical)
Description : The West Assam Milk Union Limited (WAMUL) has been formed by the Government of Assam, with an aim to promote dairying as a source of livelihood in the rural parts of the State and propel Assam towards self-reliance in milk and milk products. WAMUL is looking for candidates for the positions of Executive Projects -Mechanical/ Electrical purely on contractual basis for the World Bank Financed ‘Assam Agribusiness and Rural Transformation Project’ (APART).
Profile Summary : To control, monitor and implement all related works of infrastructure expansion project(s) of WAMUL. Shall contribute, facilitate and execute works from construction to operationalizing the project within the project timeline including project coordination, stabilization of the Operations and establishing the intended plant performance and output.
Main Responsibilities :
- Shall be able to lead an execution team to carry out the execution of site works.
- Shall lend all possible support to resolve the construction/ installation related technical issues at site.
- Monitoring & reporting of work progress of project through tools like MS project
- Preparation of Goods receipt note (GRN), maintain relevant site records, Project Billing etc.
- Provide active supervision and technical support
- To administer contractual and commercial deliverables and report the same in order to advise management of exposures
- To implement and monitor procedures for all technical matters in order to ensure compliance to WAMUL’s policies and procedures
- To ensure the compilation of lessons learnt and supervise their regular update.
- To liaise with other members of the team in order to identify exposure, changes in cost and value and possible delays.
- Liaise with staff and team and review information to locate and thereafter evaluate the cost and value of all variations and likely future variations
- Liaise for Govt. and Statutory compliances
- To accomplish other duties as determined by management.
- Must be result oriented and dynamic
- Should work independently to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Qualification & Experience : BE/ B Tech in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with minimum 4 years of experience in Mechanical/Electrical domain of projects. Construction industry experience in Industrial Project works (preferably in a dairy/ food industry) with Site posting / project co-ordination from office.
2. Executive Projects (Civil)
Description : The West Assam Milk Union Limited (WAMUL) has been formed by the Government of Assam, with an aim to promote dairying as a source of livelihood in the rural parts of the State and propel Assam towards self-reliance in milk and milk products. WAMUL is looking for candidates for the position of Executive Projects - Civil purely on contractual basis for the World Bank Financed ‘Assam Agribusiness and Rural Transformation Project’ (APART).
Profile Summary : To control, monitor and administer the Engineering Execution, Construction of the project, provide input, support and advice for constructing the facility as per the defined quality assurance plan (QAP).
Main Responsibilities :
1. Lead execution team to carry out the execution of Project.
2. Support team to resolve the construction related issues at site
3. Reporting of progress and Monitoring of project through tools like MS project.
4. Certification of civil measurements as per the IS Code & technical specification of the respective PO
5. Preparation of Goods receipt note (GRN), maintain relevant site records.
6. Must be result oriented and dynamic
7. Should work independently to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Other responsibilities :
- Provide active supervision and technical support.
- To administer contractual and commercial deliverables and report the same in order to advise management of exposures.

- Qualification & Experience : BE/ B Tech in Civil Engineering from a reputed institute with minimum 4 years of experience in Civil construction/ consultancy. Must have hands on experience in execution of RCC Framed structures with special finishes like Epoxy, PU etc. Construction industry experience in Civil works execution. Site posting/ project co-ordination from office.
