IIT GUWAHATI Recruitment Details : 

Applications in prescribed forms are invited from Indian Nationals for the following temporary technical position on contractual basis in the Department of Physics of IIT Guwahati as detailed below :

Name Of The Posts : Junior Technician, Department of Physics
No of Posts : 02 nos

Qualifications : a) B.Sc. with Physics/Electronics/ Computer Science as one subject. Or, 

b) Four years diploma in Computer Science Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering. Or, 

c) HS (Science) with Physics as one subject and one year experience in relevant laboratories/ industries or having recipient of national level award for innovative scientific work. Or, 

d) ITI certificate in Electrical/ Electronic/ Computer applications with one year relevant experience in laboratories or industries.

Age Limit : Maximum 27 years on the last date of receipt Application Form.

Pay : Consolidated salary Rs. 20,000 per month with OPD medical facility at IIT Guwahati (Self only)

Duration of Appointment : 11 months (Tentatively from July 2019 to May 2020).

Recruitment Procedure : Written Examination followed by Technical Skilled Test.
