BORDER ROADS ORGANISATION (BRO) Recruitment Details :

Name Of The Posts : 

1. Driver Mechanical Transport (Ordinary Grade)
No. Of Post : 388 nos (UR-159, SC-58, ST-29, OBC-104, EWS-38)
Qualification :

i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and

ii) Possessing a heavy Motor vehicle driving licence:

or

Having passed class III Course for Driven Plant Mechanical Transport as laid down in Defence Service Regulations (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from office of Records or Centres or similar establishment of Defence.

Age : 18 to 27 years.

Pay Level - 2 : Rs. 19900-44400 (As per 7th Pay Commission)

2. ELECTRICIAN
No. Of Post : 101 nos (UR-42, SC-15, ST-07, OBC-27, EWS-10)
Qualification :

i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent;

ii) Possessing certificate of Auto Electrician from Industrial Training Institute or equivalent and having one year experience as Electrician;

or

Having passed the Electrician Class 2 Course as laid down in Defence Service Regulations (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from office of Records or Centres or similar establishment of Defence.

Age : 18 to 27 years.

Pay Level - 2 : Rs. 19900-44400 (As per 7th Pay Commission)

3. VEHICLE MECHANIC
No. Of Post : 92 nos (UR-40, SC-13, ST-06, OBC-24, EWS-09)
Qualification :
i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent;
ii) Possessing Certificate of Mechanic in Motor Vehicle / Diesel / Heat Engine.
or
Possessing certificate of mechanic in internal Combustion Engine / Tractor from Industrial Training Institute or equivalent;
or
Having passed the Defence Trade Certificate from an Army Institute, or similar establishment of Defence or having passed Vehicle Mechanic Class 2 Course as laid down in Defence Service Regulations, (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from office of Records or Centres or similar establishment of Defence.
Age : 18 to 27 years.
Pay Level - 2 : Rs. 19900-44400 (As per 7th Pay Commission)

4. Multi Skilled Worker (Cook)
No. Of Post : 197 nos (UR-81, SC-29, ST-14, OBC-53, EWS-20)
Qualification :
(i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent ;
(ii) Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organisation.
(iii) Should qualify physical tests as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
(iv) Should meet physical and medical standards as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
Age : 18 to 25 years.
Pay Level - 2 : Rs. 18000-39900 (As per 7th Pay Commission)
