Walk-in interview for filling up one JPF will be held in the Dept. of Crop Physiology, AAU, Jorhat, following  project as per schedule given below. The posts are purely temporary and will be terminated on completion of the project. Intending candidates having requisite qualification may report at the time of interview and submit application in plain paper enclosing bio- data, photograph and other testimonials as per date and time. Educational Qualification : M.Sc. (Agri) and M.Sc. Botany / Ecology.

Name of the Project : “Study of diversity of rice in Karbialong  district of Assam : Implication for biodiversity  and conservation under changed climate condition”  

Salary : Rs. 16,000 per month (Fixed)

2. Junior Research Fellow 
No Of Posts : 01 nos
Educational qualification : M. Sc.(Agri) in soil Science or M.Sc in Life Sciences/Microbiology with NET/GATE etc.
Name of the Project : Exploring rhizospheric microbiome (PGPR and AM fungi) for regulating the expression of zinc transporter genes (ZRT) in rice to augment the zinc nutrition
Salary  : Rs. 25,000/- + 10% HRA

Venue : Department of Soil Science, AAU, Jorhat.
